As with any other artistic expression found in the island, these influences have been uniquely adapted into Bali's personality, creating new nuances and styles of paintings that are distinctly Balinese. But Made Kaek (Kaek is artist name of Made Dharma Susila) young motivated artist, the art talent was come when he live in Yogyakarta for his study in Atma Jaya Jogjakarta in Law literature. He learn drawing and painting as autodidact he met their collage and Nyoman Gunarsa also his master motivator while in there.

After graduated from Atma Jaya he come back to their village in Sukawati, he build a small gallery named Paros Gallery. A number of the collection keeps in this Studio, after daily activity as a marketing staff at some business in Ubud we can meet him at this studio to realize his imagination in color on paper and canvas. 

Made Kaek style of paintings is unique children of expression is running in every his creation, children expression is freely without doubt and hypocrisy. He lives with his family with 3 children, their son now study in elementary school, he was born in Denpasar in 1967 and he infold in many group exhibition from 1989, he also get some award from Young and Sport Minister of Indonesia (1990), Bali Art Festival (1992),  Citra Usadha Indonesia Foundation Award (1995).

His concepts and creative expressions generate from the intimate reality of his life. Kaek’s art works reflect the contemplation and comprehension of daily realities encountered by The Self and the pulsating world around it. Apparent from the title works, Kaek’s treasure of creativity is centered upon his personal narrations. He sublimates and transforms his personal life’s notes.

With Kaek, the creation his private life a process that later will be “repeated” by his viewers following their appreciation and interpretation, thus giving the works the existential significance of an entity laden with meanings.

The naïve characters of Kaek’s works remind us strongly of children’s drawings. He plays freely with forms. Flat images without three dimensional illusion dominate the pictorial space: no optical mannerism such as perspective or vanishing point.
