Tjokorda Gde Sukawati first opened Ubud to foreign interactions at the end of the 19th century and his family have continued that tradition of openness and cultural and religious exchange to this day.

But Made Kaek (Kaek is artist name of Made Dharma Susila) young motivated artist, the art talent was come when he live in Yogyakarta for his study in Atma Jaya Jogjakarta in Law literature. He learn drawing and painting as autodidact he met their collage and Nyoman Gunarsa also his master motivator while in there.

Sibetan - House of the snake fruits

Away from  the tourists, this place is magic!  Small  and very quiet village.

Sibetan village, about 85 km from Denpasar at an altitude of 500 m, exactly in Karangasem regency, is central to the cultivation of Salak, located close to other attractions, such as temples Besakih, Candidasa, Taman Ujung, Tirta Gangga and Amed  can alternatively an attractive tourist destination.

Salak is palm family that have leaves shape the same as coconut trees, but the trunk itself could not grow up as high as the other palm family. It only reaches 1 meters height from the land and if any strong wind blowing, the main trunk will fall down to the land again. The good production usually produced when the trunk reaches between 10 upto 20cms length. in Indonesian name is Salak Palm or Snake fruit and the Species name is Salaca Edulis. Why it is called “SNAKE FRUITS” Because the fruit covered by brown scales look like snake skin pattern with thorns.

 Wayan Mercy Homestay  is located at Sanur ,is Bali oldest upscale resort area and is a mature beach-side town. Despite the abundance of restaurants and accommodation, it has a quiet and relaxed feel to it. Sanur tends to appeal most to middle-aged and older families, especially Europeans.
