Tjok Gede Anom Putra Sukawati (Tjok Anom) is the Host at Puri Sukmawati. He is a member of the local parliament in the Province of Bali, and is interested in culture and nature conservation based on the dynamic spirit of the Balinese way of life. Tjok Anom inherits the spirit of open dialogue between cultures which was pioneered by his great-grandfather, Tjokorde Gde Sukawati, the former ruler of Ubud. Tjokorda Gde Sukawati first opened Ubud to foreign interactions at the end of the 19th century and his family have continued that tradition of openness and cultural and religious exchange to this day.

As with any other artistic expression found in the island, these influences have been uniquely adapted into Bali's personality, creating new nuances and styles of paintings that are distinctly Balinese. But Made Kaek (Kaek is artist name of Made Dharma Susila) young motivated artist, the art talent was come when he live in Yogyakarta for his study in Atma Jaya Jogjakarta in Law literature. He learn drawing and painting as autodidact he met their collage and Nyoman Gunarsa also his master motivator while in there.

Wayan Sudarmadja homestay located in Bedulu Village of Gianyar, is an ancient village which has an interesting cultural potential, in the forms of archaeological remains stored in temples and is still sacred as media worship for Hindus.

Ardika Homestay has a great location in the central of Ubud town. The landscape was combination between antique  and Balinese style. He graduated on architecture studies in Gadjah Mada University of Jogjakarta. The house is generally a little quieter, you will meet his young brother and sister living in the same house, they are a great person and will be your chaperon during you stay in Ardika house.

The sister will prepare your breakfast and take care of your meal ,You just request to her  any time. She have a small local restaurant just in the front of house with special menu “Ayam Betutu“, you should try how the taste and asking the recipe. She also the dancer of  Kecak ,the only Woman dancer of Kecak in Bali, normally Kecak dance doing by the Man only, a new amazing performance not to be missed while in Ubud, every Wednesday evening at 7:30 pm in the courtyard of Pura Batukaru on Jalan Suweta very closed from Ardika house.
